APS Scholarships for Freshmen
The Academic Performance Scholarship Program (APS) is ETSU's largest merit based scholarship program for new freshmen students from Tennessee and border counties eligible for in-state tuition. These scholarships are awarded based on a combination of high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores for freshmen.
To be considered, you must:
1. Apply for admission to ETSU by the Thursday before the start of the term (you are applying
for) and submit all required documents by the first day of the term to the Office
of Undergraduate Admissions. Students whose documents are received after this date
will not be considered for APS scholarships.
2. Send ETSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions your official high school transcripts.
3. Take ACT or SAT exam prior to March 1 deadline and send ETSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions your scores.
Between April 15 and August 15, you can search for available service positions.
